Don't they teach you no brains at that school?

There's nothing sadder in our 21st Century Blogosphere bollocks than coming across a once thriving blog that was last updated several years ago with a heartfelt "apologies that I've not been able to write any posts for ages" and a sincere promise to be a good and attentive blogger from this day forth.

Despite that - I have indeed not had time or inclination to post here for the last month since exams ended and I've been merrily forgetting all I once new about the teleology of Maoist rural modernism and the correct uses of the 的 particle, and reacquainting myself with Sainsbury's value gin and daytime TV. I've got some good ideas in the works though. Seriously. The last month has also seen me return to my homelands of South Yorkshire from Hackney's illustrious E5, which has given me a lot of thoughts to write about. Coming soon.
